YSBA Welcomes New Members, Executive Director Cheryl Sanchez and Honors Michael Kaplowitz

The Yorktown Small Business Association (YSBA) met at The Gramercy on July 24th. to welcome their new members, introduce Cheryl Sanchez as Executive Director, and to honor County Legislator Michael Kaplowitz for his support, membership in the YSBA, and 22 years of service. New members The Gramercy, Sustainable Westchester, Camp Nabby, and Vedat Gashi Esq. were welcomed with enthusiasm. The event was well attended and the Gramercy put out a tasteful sample of their culinary delights. The Gramercy is a wonderfully designed venue for any occasion and a welcome addition to the many new businesses in Yorktown.

Cheryl’s experience with small businesses and networking will be very helpful to fulfilling our mission of advocating, advising, and mentoring small businesses.   Cheryl expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and talked about many of the positive attributes that Yorktown has to offer. Michael Kaplowitz was presented with a certificate, thanking him for his years of service to the Yorktown community and his membership and support of the YSBA.
