New York State Police Newsroom Notification: State Police in Troop K remove eighteen impaired drivers from public roadways over the September 21, 2019, weekend

The New York State Police from Troop K removed 22 impaired drivers form our streets this past weekend. Below are several of those charged in the Westchester/Putnam area with impaired driving offense(s).

On September 21, 2019, State Police from SP Somers arrested Wilfrido F. Villa, age 45, of Queens, NY, for Aggravated DWI.  He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of North Salem, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On September 22, 2019, State Police from SP East Fishkill arrested Arquimides Mendoza, age 57, of Patterson, NY, for DWI.  He was traveling on State Route 312 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On September 22, 2019, State Police from SP Somers arrested Rudis Germosen, age 58, of Haverstraw, NY, for DWI.  He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when his vehicle became disabled for unknown reasons.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On September 23, 2019, State Police from SP Somers arrested Ian J. Quinones, age 36, of Patterson, NY, for DWI.  He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
