State Police in Troop K remove twenty-two impaired drivers from the public roadways during the October 5, 2019, weekend.


On October 6, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested James Burns, age 52, of Danbury, CT, for DWI.  He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On October 6, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Jason R. Patino, age 21, of Mount Kisco, NY, for Aggravated DWI.  He had been traveling on North Main Street in the town of Southeast, before being the subject of a welfare check for an unconscious driver parked in a local business lot.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
 
On October 6, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Michael C. Fennick, age 35, of Danbury, CT, for DWAI Drugs.  He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of drugs, and was subsequently arrested.
 
On October 6, 2019, State Police from SP Somers arrested Laura F. Melo, age 29, of Bethel, CT, for DWI.  She was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Bedford, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
 
On October 6, 2019, State Police from SP Somers arrested Milton B. Pereira, age 29, of Danbury, CT, for Aggravated DWI.  He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of North Salem, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.  Pereira’s reportable blood alcohol content was 0.37%.
 
On October 6, 2019, State Police from SP Somers arrested Behroz K. Dilemani, age 73, of Ridgefield, CT, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony.  He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of North Salem, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
