March has arrived and as the adage goes “It come in like a lion and out like a lamb!” At the Chamber we are looking forward to brighter and warmer days ahead. Let me start by announcing our 1st Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of the year slated for Saturday March 6th at 11am. I am looking forward to welcoming the new owner Shak into our vibrant community. We will also be hosting a ribbon cutting and grand opening for Level UP fitness which recently expanded and is now located at 2013 Crompond Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598 at 10:00am. I am excited for the new owner of 7-Eleven as well as the newly expanded Level Up. I will also be posting it live for all to see and everyone is most definitely welcome to attend.
I am pleased to say that our Business Diversity Team presented our first event on February 23rd. April Francis of April Equity Consulting knocked it out of the park with her presentation titled “Why Diversity and Inclusion Matters in Local Business.” The presentation is posted here: https://yorktownchamber.org/business-socials/. Stop on by and check it out.
Next, I would like to announce my new “100 / 100” initiative where I pledge to visit 100 businesses in 100 days to promote and support their venture. I believe it is a great way to give back to these businesses and congratulate them for surviving thus far. If you own a business, any business, please contact the Chamber 914-245-4599, and I would be happy stop by and promote you.
On the horizon will be our Springfest as well as our Car Show. For a complete list of events please visit our website yorktownchamber.org. If you need anything, please feel free to contact me or my office at 914-245-4599.
