Expanded Location Offers New State-of-the-Art MRI Imaging

CareMount Medical, the largest independent multi-specialty medical group in New York State, announces the grand opening, relocation, and expansion of its three Yorktown offices to 355 Kear Street, Yorktown Heights. The new 40,000 square foot office building, open seven days a week, offers 13 specialties, urgent care, radiology, and lab services. Office hours vary by specialty and service.

The GE 1.5T Signa™ Voyager MRI machine provides patients with greater comfort, shorter and quieter scans, and a more pleasant environment, while delivering enhanced imaging capabilities. The wide bore and low height of the machine allows patients who are claustrophobic, or those who have wide shoulders or may not fit into a traditional MRI enclosure, to rest more comfortably during an exam. Additionally, the MRI features exceptional image quality and accuracy to enhance diagnostic results.

Previously, CareMount Medical had three offices in Yorktown. The new office offers specialties not previously available at the former locations including colorectal surgery and dermatology.
