Winter Woodland Animals
Animals have been preparing all fall, collecting food and building winter homes. Birds and butterflies will migrate south , bears and bats will hibernate, and others will adapt to the new season. Here are some activities and books to enjoy about our animal friends in winter.

Who's footprints are these?
Download this guide from Education.com on forest animal tracks or read 'Yogi Bear's Guide to Animal Tracks' by Mark Weakland. Create a match game using pictures of animals and footprints or plan a scavenger hunt to match the animals with their tracks. Winter is a great time to look for tracks since they are so easy to see in the snow.

Bear Cave Craft
