Earring Making Workshop

Led by Joan Lloyd. Make earrings for yourself and for a Battered Women’s Shelter. Optional: Bring any old bead jewelry that you can recycle into earrings! If you have any jewelry making tools, bring them along too. For Adults & Teens & Tweens. Please register online or at the reference desk.


Paper Arts: Family Photo Collage with Lavinia Wiggins
Thursday, July 18 at 6pm

Using a photo as the main focus we will create a collage using papers and various ephemera.  Gather your items to make a memorable keepsake.  Fabric, lace, buttons, letters, postcards, etc.  If you don’t want to use the original, make a Xerox copy.  We’ll be working in an 8x10 format. Please bring: Scissors, glue stick or glue tape.
The instructor will provide all items to create the project.  Don’t have a relative? A photo for you to use will be provided.   Embellishments will be provided, BUT you might like to include your own  Any specific photo, papers or items you want to use, please bring them. Register online or at the reference desk.

 
The Art of Treasure Hunting
