Byrne Hosts Informative “Coffee with Kevin” Events Throughout District

Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (R,C,Ref-Mahopac) is pleased to announce the success of the “Coffee with Kevin” meet and greet tour he held throughout the towns in Putnam County he represents. From October 7 to October 18, Byrne met with numerous residents from the towns of Patterson, Carmel, Putnam Valley and Southeast at various diners and coffee shops.

Byrne met with a number of Putnam County residents and discussed a wide-range of important issues ranging from tax relief, infrastructure needs, public corruption, protecting children with special needs, public safety, the state budget, cashless bail, energy and tax relief.

“Thank you to everyone who came out to share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns on how we can improve our state government to make it work better for all residents. Community conversations and meet and greets at local restaurants and coffee shops are a great way to engage local residents in a welcoming and informal setting accessible to them. I’d like to thank the Putnam Diner, Millie’s Cafe, Lake Dinner Pizza & Deli and Brewster Hot Bagels for allowing us to host this great event, as well as everyone else who came out and participated in the conversation,” said Assemblyman Byrne.

“We appreciate that Assemblyman Byrne makes himself so accessible to the residents of his district. It's the responsibility of our elected officials to listen to the concerns of their constituents, and also inform us on what they have accomplished in office. Our patrons had a great dialogue with Assemblyman Byrne, and we look forward to doing this with him next year,” said Millie’s Café co-owners Elisa Quattrucci and Aileen Orta.
