Maloney Invites Hudson Valley to Participate in Sixth Annual Valentines for Veterans Program

Last Year, Maloney Delivered More Than 4,300 Valentines Made by Over 50 Organizations and Individuals

Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) announces his sixth annual “Valentines for Veterans” initiative, encouraging New Yorkers across the Hudson Valley to join him in making Valentine’s Day cards to send to area veterans.

“We made a promise to honor and care for our veterans, and the Valentines for Veterans program is just one small way we can show our appreciation for the brave men and women who served our country,” said Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney. “I encourage every New Yorker of every age to take the time to thank our veterans.”

Rep. Maloney’s Valentines for Veterans program provides schools, families, individuals, and businesses in the Hudson Valley with the opportunity to send Valentine’s Day greetings to our veterans. Because of overwhelming public support for the effort, Rep. Maloney will also distribute the Valentines to local veterans’ service agencies in addition to veterans who live at Castle Point.

Interested participants should contact Rep. Maloney’s office at (845) 561-1259. Valentines may be mailed to or dropped off at his Newburgh District Office (123 Grand Street, 2nd Floor, Newburgh, NY 12550) by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11th.
