State Police in Troop K remove twenty-two impaired drivers from the public roadways during the December 7, 2019, weekend

The New York State Police report that during the December 7th weekend, State Troopers from Troop K removed 22 impaired drivers from area roadways. Several of those arrested were allegedly operating while impaired on local roads or have ties to the Brewster, Carmel, Somers and Yorktown area.

On December 8, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Joseph R. Dilascio, age 21, of Brookfield, CT, for DWI.  He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On December 8, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Jhon J. Penaherrera, age 19, of Danbury, CT, for DWI.  He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On December 8, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Sergio V. Castro Torres, age 45, of Danbury, CT, for DWI.  He was traveling on North Salem Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On December 7, 2019, State Police from SP Wappinger arrested Herber Gonzalez Salazar, age 36, of Brewster, NY, for DWI.  He was traveling on North Main Street in the village of Brewster, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On December 8, 2019, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Arielle L. Kaufman, age 30, of Carmel, NY, for DWI.  She was traveling on State Route 9 in the city of Peekskill, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
