Putnam Coalition That Cares Holds Leadership Conference

A Leadership Summit was held at Centennial Golf Club in Carmel, NY on December 4, 2019 to discuss the ways in which Putnam County can enhance the quality of service to individuals with co-occurring disorders. The Summit was co-sponsored by Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative and was attended by over 40 leaders, CEOs and stakeholders of all of behavioral health organizations in Putnam County.

The Putnam County Co-Occurring System of Care Committee (COSOCC) is a partnership of local community providers engaged in a collaborative effort to create a system of care to meet the needs of individuals and families with co-occurring and complex challenges. Putnam is one of the seven participating counties, (Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester) charged with the transformation and promotion of an integrated system of care. The goal is to create a network of care that is welcoming, accessible, person and family-centered, recovery and resiliency-oriented, trauma-informed, culturally competent, integrated, and co-occurring capable.
