On Thursday September 3, 2020 Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (94th Assembly District) will host a Shed-the-Meds event in Yorktown from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: 2281 Crompound Road in Yorktown Heights, NY 10598
The event will he held rain or shine and will be supervised by the Yorktown Police Department. Proper social distancing measures will be in place. Drop off any expired or unwanted medication and it will be collected and safely disposed of by officers of the Yorktown Police Department.
Disposing of medication improperly. such as flushing it down a toilet or pouring it down the drain, can lead to pollution in the water we drink, safe disposal helps protect our health and keeps prescription drugs away from children or others who might use them Improperly.
INSTRUCTIONS: Bring your medications in a clear plastic bag!
