Metro North Readying for Tropical Storm Zeta to Pass through Hudson Valley Tonight

Tropical Storm Zeta is expected to reach the New York and Connecticut region today Thursday, bringing moderate to heavy rainfall and gusty winds, along with possible impacts to Metro-North train service. 

Today, heavy rainfall and wind gusts up to 30 mph can bring fallen trees across our territory. Customers should anticipate possible delays and service disruptions.

MNRR will have personnel and equipment pre-positioned to be prepared for storm-related issues. Please take care when traveling. Stay clear of the platform edges, use handrails, and walk carefully when entering or exiting stations and boarding or leaving trains.  Please allow for extra travel time and listen for announcements at your station. Please note, face coverings are required on all Metro-North property and trains.
