Senator Pete Harckham, 40th Senate District, Chair of the Senate Committee on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) are offering a FREE public Naloxone training, to anyone interested, on Thursday, May 23, at 6pm in Carmel, NY. The event will be held at:

Naloxone is a lifesaving medication that can be administered in the event of an opioid overdose. Attendees will be trained on the signs of opioid overdose, the proper administration of Naloxone and will be provided with Narcan.
