Yorktown PD arrest Suspended Operator

Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 28 year old male who is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd degree, a misdemeanor and for having an amplified muffler, a traffic infraction. 

On January 4, 2019 at about 9:40 PM while on routine patrol, P.O. Ellsworth conducted a traffic stop on Crompond Road. The vehicle allegedly had an amplified exhaust. The defendant was identified via a New York State Drivers License. A routine NYSPIN check of the defendant revealed that his privilege to operate a motor vehicle was revoked for refusing to submit to a chemical test. 

The defendant, Juan P. Suscal-Pen, 28 of Peekskill,  was arrested and transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing. After processing the defendant was released on $50.00 cash bail. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on February 5, 2019 at 6:00PM to answer the charges.
