Free Screenagers Movie Screening on October 25 in Brewster

The Brewster IS/MS PTA is sponsoring a screening of the movie Screenagers: Growing Up in a Digital Age on October 25 from 7:00-8:30 in the Brewster Performing Arts Center at Brewster High School (50 Foggintown Rd).

The movie is free to the public.  It examines family life and depicts the  struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. It discusses solutions and strategies on how we can empower our children to best navigate the digital world.  This screening is open to parents and students of all ages.  The video will also be shown in Brewster school to grades 4-7.  More information on the movie can be found on the Screenagers website (http://www.screenagersmovie.com). A trailer for the movie can be found here.

Other regional schools have charged parents and community members for the cost of this screening.  We are very fortunate that our Brewster PTA has sponsored this event and absorbed the cost of the showing.

Please contact Peter LaMoreaux (plamoreaux@brewsterschools.org) for more information.
