Weston Public Library

Sunday Jul 14, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Hannah Madeleine Goodman is in love... with the Great American Songbook. She serves as singer, pianist, arranger, and songbook historian in Almost Like Being in Love, featuring her own medleys of classics by Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Frank Loesser, and many more. Her renditions of standards are anything but - her performances have been hailed as “exquisite,” “outstanding,” and “radiant”. A crossover singer of many styles recognized for her interpretation of American song as a 2024 American Traditions Competition quarterfinalist, classically trained at conservatory and comedically trained at Second City Hollywood, she explores what makes the songbook great - and challenges what makes the songbook American.
