Did You Know?
* The Paramount Theater was built by a subsidiary of Paramount Pictures in the height of the grand movie palace heyday.
* The Paramount was designed by the noted architectural firm of George and Charles Rapp, with a mammoth cooling and air conditioning plant, a beautifully furnished lounge, rest rooms and a great Wurlitzer theatre organ rising from the pit – state-of-the-art features for the time!
* The Paramount Theater has been designated a Westchester County Landmark and is on the New York state and National Registers of Historic Places.
Join us exactly 85 years later to the day of the Paramount Theater’s Grand Opening on June 27th, 1930, as we celebrate this jewel of the Hudson Valley.
