UPDATE at 4:06 pm September 7: The matter has been investigated by the Bedford Police Department and has been deemed unfounded.
In a letter to Bedford School District community today, Dr. Christopher Manno, Superintendent of Schools said that the District received notice of an attempted luring of a student that was reported to have taken place on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 on the corner of Babbitt Road and Milan Avenue in Bedford Hills.
"The report cited a white car with two Latino males, one of whom asked the student to get in the car. The student said "no" and ran away," he said.
