UPDATE: Bedford Police Investigate Report of Luring of Student

UPDATE at 4:06 pm September 7: The matter has been investigated by the Bedford Police Department and has been deemed unfounded.


 

In a letter to Bedford School District community today, Dr. Christopher Manno, Superintendent of Schools said that the District received notice of an attempted luring of a student that was reported to have taken place on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 on the corner of Babbitt Road and Milan Avenue in Bedford Hills. 

"The report cited a white car with two Latino males, one of whom asked the student to get in the car.   The student said "no" and ran away," he said. 

The Bedford Police Department has been notified and they are investigating the incident.
