The Library Fair is one of the largest community events in Lewisboro and truly has something for everyone!</span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">There are activities to appeal to all ages, like the Car Show, Dunk Tank, Food Trucks, Bake Sale Booth, Music, Beer Garden, a “Kids Zone” with a Fairy Garden Workshop, a bouncy house & more! <p>The United Way of Westchester and Putnam (United Way) is proud to announce the distribution of grants totaling $500,000 to 44 deserving nonprofit organizations across the region. This significant investment in our community demonstrates United Way's commitment to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and resilient Westchester and Putnam. Notably, six of the awarded organizations are receiving funding from United Way for the first time.</p><p>The funds were made available through United Way’s Community Impact Fund, the Emergency Food and Shelter Program, and a partnership with PepsiCo. The grant processes were highly competitive, with United Way receiving over 200 proposals across the opportunities. The selected recipients represent a range of nonprofits, each with a unique mission and vision, yet all are committed to improving the lives of individuals and families who are ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) in our community.</p><p>United Way of Westchester and Putnam is deeply committed to creating lasting change in our community. <p><strong>24th Annual Fireworks Spectacular at Onatru Farm Park on Saturday, June 29 from 6 to 11 pm</strong></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">The Town Board is so pleased to present and bring back a fun filled day of entertainment and fireworks to the residents of the Town to celebrate Independence Day. Come out and enjoy the fun and excitement and be among family, friends and neighbors. Don't forget your blankets, chairs and flashlights.</span></p>
<p>The NY DOT resurfacing project begins 5/19 on Route 35 from Bouton Road in Lewisboro to Route 22 in Bedford. Evening working hours are 9pm-6am.</p><p>Expect traffic delays due to lane and road closures and consider an alternate route if possible.
