PACE Athletics Accept Cold Water Challenge for #Chillin4Charity

PLEASANTVILLE, NY- Pace University women's basketball coaches along with the Pace Athletics mascot, T-Bone, participated in the Kay Yow Cancer Fund's #Chillin4Charity initiative. In the initiative, the "challenged" coaches can accept the challenge and the challengers then donate $25 to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. If a coach decides to not accept it, then they will donate $250 to the fund. The program was started by the coaching staff at the University of Arizona and has spread nationwide as part of a coast-to-coast fundraising program.

Both women's basketball coaches were "challenged" by their fellow coaches as Head Coach Carrie Seymour accepted the challenge from Assumption College Head Coach Kerry Phayre. Coach Seymour challenged LIU Post Head Coach Deirdre Moore, Pace women's basketball alum and St. Francis Prep Head Coach Kerri White '13 and former Southern Illinois Head Coach and current Bentley University Assistant Athletics Director Cindy Scott.

Assistant Coach Patrina Blow was challenged by Bentley University Assistant Coach C White. Coach Blow challenged The College of Saint Rose Assistant Coach John Ardizone, Bentley Assistant Coach Dan Hunt and Iona College Head Coach Billi Godsey.

T-Bone was challenged by the University of Oregon mascot, The Oregon Duck. In turn, T-Bone challenged the University of New Haven and the University of Miami mascots to take the Cold Water Challenge.
