Katonah-Lewisboro BOE Requests Community Input to Identify New Superintendent

Board of Education Requests Community Input Regarding Identifying New Superintendent

Katonah-Lewisboro School District’s Board of Education has initiated its search for a new superintendent. To advise them in this process, they have retained the services of Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA), a consulting firm that specializes in assisting School Boards with the consideration of candidates for superintendent.

A key step in this process is to identify the characteristics that the Katonah-Lewisboro community is seeking in its new superintendent.

All community members are invited to complete an online survey and attend a Community Conversation, which will be facilitated by associates of HYA, on April 10 at noon and 7:30 pm, via Zoom.

The link for the survey and the Zoom link for the Community Conversations can be found at klschools.org/superintendentsearch.

A postcard with invitations to participate in the online survey and Community Conversation is being sent to all residents, expected to arrive in homes by the beginning of April.

“We welcome and value the community's input as we search for a superintendent who can continue the great work happening in the District,” said Julia Hadlock, president of the Board of Education.
