Annual Lewisboro Library Fair is Saturday, September 22

The 58th annual Lewisboro Library Fair will be held rain or shine, on Saturday, September 22 from 10 am to 4 pm at Onatru Farm Town Park (99 Elmwood Road in South Salem). The Fair features huge Book, “Attic Treasures” and Toy sales, food, music, vintage cars, a revamped games area, a Gnome Scavenger Hunt and local vendors. The Book, Toy and Sporting Equipment Pre-Sale is Thursday, September 20 from 5 to 9 pm. Admission is free for Lewisboro residents; there is a $20 admission fee for non-residents. The Book Pre-Sale continues Friday, September 21 from 9 am to 5 pm, with free admission for all. There will be an After-Sale of bargains on Sunday, September 23 from 10 am to 2 pm.

 The Fair’s car show, or Concours d’Elegance, will showcase a wide range of vehicles from show cars to weekend cruisers. The first 40 registrants receive dash plates, and all cars are roped off. THERE IS NO ENTRANCE FEE, but space is limited. To register contact Dean at ssalemconcours@optimum.net or 914-763-5402. Plaques are awarded in several categories courtesy of the sponsor. The Trustee’s Booth will have a mini silent auction of items donated by local businesses.

An array of food is available for lunch, as well as homemade baked goods at the Bake Sale Tent. Donations of baked goods are needed, and can be dropped off at the Bake Sale Tent any time after 10 am on Fair Day. The theme for this year's "Battle of the Bakers" is autumn pies. So dig up your favorite family recipe and join the battle - anything that doesn't have to be refrigerated! Entries should be brought to the Bake Sale Tent by noon on Fair Day. Judging is at 2:00 pm. Please visit the Library Fair page on the Library website to pre-register – www.lewisborolibrary.org.

The Fair’s “Vendor Alley” has a variety of unique items for the serious shopper, from vendors like Ani Nyitray Designs, LuLaRoe, Ruby Ribbon, Sparkle Dots and Taspen’s Organics. Don’t forget to visit the community booths as well, to find out about all the services available in Lewisboro.
