Four on the Floor Onstage at the Lewisboro Library

Enjoy a night at the theater – in your own backyard! The Lewisboro Library is thrilled to introduce an exciting new addition to its special events programming - a unique fundraising evening featuring four short plays followed by a Q & A with the talent.

On Friday, February 22 at 7:30 pm, acclaimed professional theater company M&M Performing Arts will present “Four on the Floor,” a funny and touching collection of stories that take a comic look at life’s serious twists and turns. Written by four award-winning New York writers, the plays include:

     · “Foothold” - a man with an ingrown toenail gets treatment for his ingrown soul
     · “Is Nothing Sacred?” - a Sunday school teacher offers a rather unique interpretation of the Ten Commandments
     · “The Late Gordon Kaplan” - a widow makes an unusual request of the Rabbi at the funeral of her husband
     · “Split Session” - a patient turns the tables on his psychiatrist

The plays will be followed by a discussion with the playwrights and the cast. Reserved seats are $20 per person. Wine, cheese and soft drinks are included. Seats must be reserved in advance at the Library or at www.lewisborolibrary.org/adult.htm
