Satisfy your appetite for superb Broadway and see ACT of Connecticut's LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS!

Sometimes, it takes blood, sweat, and tears to create something that’s so special, you leave hungry for MORE.

Enter: Act of Connecticut’s Little Shop of Horrors.

For 2 ½ hours, you will leave the quiet, safe streets of Connecticut and enter an unsettling urban “hood” where street urchins linger, a doomed flower shop (Mushniks) and defeated owner (William Thomas Evans as Mr. Mushnik) exist. That is until suddenly, one shop employee (Robb Sapp as Seymour) unleashes his inner botanical genius.

ACT's Artistic Director Daniel C. Levine kills it as the sadistic Orin Scrivello DDS, a role he revisits after earning acclaim 15 years ago as the “The Dentist”.  Watching Levine masterfully transform into eight different characters during the course of the musical had audience members sitting on the edge of their seats (with, at times, jaw-dropping gasps interlaced with laughs).

Audrey, performed by Laura Woyasz (WORKING at ACT, Glinda in WICKED on Broadway) shines as Levine’s meek and controlled girlfriend whose self-confidence and character grow alongside her namesake "out of this world" plant.

The show is bursting with powerful voices in the form of three street-savvy urchins (with serious attitude) performed by Kadrea Dawkins, Rachelle Legrand and Ashley Alexandra Seldon with Jaclyn Mercer, Ian Shain and puppeteer Thomas Bergamo.

The musical is directed and artfully choreographed by Jason A. Sparks and P. Jason Yarcho (WICKED on Broadway). Bryan Perri is the resident music supervisor and Isaac Hayward is the associate music director.

When the show concludes, Little Shop of Horror attendees are invited to take a "selfie" with Audrey II while supporting ACT's free sensory-friendly productions. The suggested donation is $20.00.

With limited shows remaining (the Broadway musical runs through November 3) buy your tickets and enter skid row, if you DARE.

The showtimes are: Thursdays at 7pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Purchase tickets HERE.
