Muscoot Farm is getting a head start on its annual Farmers Market as it will open for the season, Sunday, April 2 and will run every Sunday through Nov. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The weekly farmers market supports farmers and sustainable efforts in our area, featuring over 20 local vendors each week. Vendors vary every week and updates will be available on muscootfarm.org.
County Executive George Latimer said: “The Farmers Market at Muscoot Farm is a local staple that Westchester residents and visitors look forward to every season. It is a great place to become acquainted with various local vendors and help support small businesses.”
Commissioner of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Kathy O’Connor said: “Sundays at Muscoot Farm during Farmers Market season is a great family destination as visitors can browse the market and visit the farm animals.”
