The Venue
Barcelona was begun in 1995 by Sasa Mahr-Batuz, based on his memories of years of living in Spain and Portugal, and Andy Pforzheimer, based on his 20 years as a chef at world-famous restaurants in France, California and New York.
Located in the 1940's Hi Ho Motel, Barcelona Fairfield is a funky throwback in the hills of Easton, just off the Merritt Parkway. The dining room has the feel of Fairfield County circa 1970, with private booths, artsy wallpaper, and homey photographs. The square bar room is the focus inside, and the beautiful 85-seat patio overlooking the trees and the Parkway is the focus in warm weather.
