The daily themes are Winter Camping, Holiday Goofy Games, Dinosaur Ice Age, The Little Gym Stars on Ice, and New Years Beach Bash. Parents can sign their children up for the week or for their choice of days, with members enjoying a discounted price.

Chess Club of Fairfield County (CCFC)
The state of Connecticut is home to 16 active chess ‘masters,’ a title the US Chess Federation bestows upon players with an established rating of 2200 or above. Two of them teach at CCFC, which provides instruction for players at all levels.
Their winter camp runs from Monday, Dec. 26 to Friday, Dec. 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Campers play individual and team matches, learn chess strategy, and analyze games, with a break for lunch (CCFC doesn’t provide lunch, but they have a refrigerator and microwave on site, and snacks and drinks are available for purchase). Participants can also sign up for the optional daily tournaments, which include two mini-matches, game analysis, and snack breaks and run from 2 to 5 p.m.
