Celebrate the music of the Allman Brothers Band with Friends of the Brothers + Brandon "Taz" Niederauer on Sunday, September 11th at 7pm! Fresh off their performance at The Peach Festival, this will be the first Connecticut appearance at The Ridgefield for Friends of the Brothers!  This premier tribute features members closely associated with the original band. Their deep knowledge of the repertoire and the music’s roots and heritage allows them to play with an unrivaled depth. Joining the friends is a Ridgefield Playhouse fan favorite – Brandon “Taz” Niederauer!

Hop back to the Playhouse on Saturday, October 1st because Toad the Wet Sprocket will take the stage at 8pm! Celebrating over 30 years as a band, Toad the Wet Sprocket continues to make music and tour with the same spirit of unwavering independence that started it all more than three decades ago. TTWS is best known for their Billboard-charting hits, “Walk on the Ocean”, “All I Want”, “Something’s Always Wrong”, and “Fall Down” among others.

Don’t miss Blind Boys of Alabama with Special Guest Charlie Musselwhite on Thursday, November 10th at 7:30pm. Blind Boys of Alabama have the rare distinction of being recognized around the world as both living legends and modern-day innovators.  They are not just gospel singers borrowing from old traditions; the group helped to define those traditions in 20th century and almost single-handedly created a new gospel sound for the 21st.

Charlie Musselwhite, more than any other harmonica player of his generation, can rightfully lay claim to inheriting the mantle of many of the great harp players that came before him with music as dark as Mississippi mud and as uplifting as the blue skies of California.

Starting at 7pm in the newly renovated Playhouse lobby will be a complimentary wine tasting of Vionta Albarino and Orube Rioja with Ferrer Miranda Family Wines and art exhibit by a local artist!
